Red Angus Ranch Location

Trinity River Land & Cattle Company's Red Angus ranch in Southeastern Texas is located approximately 50 miles north of Houston off of Highway 59, just east of Shepherd. Our 8,000 acre ranch is an absolutely spectacular place filled with natural beauty. Surrounded by wooded forests in San Jacinto County, this farming, fishing and ranching rural area was once a center for the lumber industry. It continues to offer true country living, and our 800+ cow and calf operation and registered Red Angus production do very well here.

Finding us is easy. When traveling north on Highway 59 from Houston, go two miles north of Shepherd and turn right onto FM 1127. Follow that road seven miles, and then take a left on Trinity River Ranch Road, where you enter our Shepherd, Texas ranch.

Being located near the Texas Gulf Coast, our cattle are already acclimated to high heat and humidity, a plus for commercial cattlemen doing business in similar harsh climates.
